View lakes, citrus groves, wineries and estate homes from your unparalleled view in the air.
Your adventure begins at sunrise as cold air inflates your beautiful seven-story hot air balloon. A Grape Escape Balloon Adventure invites you to participate or sit back and observe the process. A certified commercial pilot will navigate the flight with your safety and enjoyment in mind. During your one-hour ride, the pilot will also act as your “tour guide” to identify local points of interest and answer any questions that you might have. The pilot communicates throughout the entire adventure with trained ground personnel. The crew will follow the balloon and will assist with your landing.
Once back on the ground, toast your successful flight and new status as “aeronaut” with champagne, orange juice, and a continental breakfast served picnic style in the gardens at Wilson Creek Winery.
A Grape Escape Balloon Adventure offers tours seven days a week, weather permitting, at sunrise over the beautiful Temecula Valley wine country in Southern California. Scenic flights are 60-75 minutes in length, however plan to spend up to three hours with A Grape Escape for your entire ballooning excursion. Meeting times vary from 5:30am to 6:30am depending on the season. Due to the early morning hours, overnight lodging is recommended for flights.
A Grape Escape Balloon Adventure proudly flies ten colorful hot air balloons including a special shaped champagne bottle. Balloons and baskets have the latest innovations in design, comfort and safety and can accommodate two to twelve passengers each. All equipment is FAA certified and A Grape Escape is fully insured.
After your balloon flight, extend your stay for the day and enjoy visiting a few of the 20 wineries in the Southern California wine country. Spend the afternoon shopping in “Old Town”, play a round of golf at one of the six championship golf courses in the area, relax at a world class spa, or enjoy a picnic at a nearby lake. When you are ready for first-class cuisine, visit one of the many restaurants located in the valley. Whatever activity you choose you are sure to enjoy your “escape”.
A Grape Escape Balloon Adventure treats every flight as a special occasion. For birthdays, anniversaries, and proposals, they include a complimentary gift package to make the day even more spectacular. A Grape Escape Balloon Adventure accepts reservations for any number of passengers from a single guest to groups of any size. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
