Building on the reputations of three companies that have flown passengers over the vineyards for more than 20 years each, Napa Valley Aloft provides a choice of amenities and pricing through Adventures Aloft, Above the West Ballooning, and Balloon Aviation.
Options include a guarantee of no more than four, six, or eight passengers per balloon. Napa Valley Aloft never does double hops where one group waits while the other flies - they guarantee single flights even in the busiest months. Hot beverages and pastry await passengers upon arrival; a sumptuous post-flight breakfast with sparkling wine concludes each flight. Napa Valley Aloft's pilots are renowned for their skills and knowledge of the Wine Country.
Their exclusive launch site at Yountville's Vintage 1870 offers a beautifully landscaped setting amid historic buildings. Guests at Yountville lodgings are minutes away; most other local lodgings are a short 15-minute drive. Sonoma is 40 minutes away, and downtown San Francisco, 60 miles away. Transportation from San Francisco is an available option.
